Before I left the UK to become happy peasant I was as Artist in Residence in eight schools. My brief was to create programmes to encourage creative writing and to achieve this I used mixed media: drawing, photography, painting, modelling and film. As an undergraduate I studied English literature and French and my Masters is in media, specifically semiotics and with reference to the position of art and the artist within modern society.
