Artist's Description

The mill quarter (how the Mühlviertel region in Upper Austria is literally translated) is also traditionally known for its mills. Many waters flow down from the mountains into the river Danube, the southern border of this region. In the woods along hiking trails you still find quite often water wheels like this.

Date : January 18, 2014
Location : Kalvarienberg / Michaelsquelle, Aigen im Mühlkreis, Upper Austria, Austria, Europe
Hiking trail : 40 Waldsteig, 41 Bärenstein Runde, 43 Waldsteig Spazierweg, 44 Mühltalblick Weg
