Artist's Description

Vintage painted wall adverb ( about 1930) in the city of Kampen.
In early days the city was (and still is) famous because of it’s cigar manufactory: “De Olifant”
There are many wall adverbs restored in their old glory.
This is one of them. A saillant detail: It’s pretty hard to find because it’s in a modern electric appliance store surrounded with all nowadays dvd players, tellies, vid games etc.. it’s on a wall that has to be untouched and protected by the council. The crack in the wall was caused by the latest floodings…no money left for restoration due hard economic times.

Vintage wall adverb disappeared.. local news 2012.
