A gorgeous beach treasure I found washed ashore yesterday…it was such a beautiful end to a perfect day for hubby & I as we celebrated our 16th Wedding Anniversary with a delicious homemade picnic up in the Hinterland then a lovely walk on the beach in the late afternoon

Fantastic capture
Thank you Kathy :)
What a pretty little thing. Do you know what it is?
Thank you Mel…There were about 6 or so lying around on the beach…not sure what they are but they are like tumbled grass with tiny shells, tiny pumice stones and even feathers all wound up together…
Someone suggested on my FB page that it might be a whales furball…lol…I think not :)
gorgeous textures…
Thank you :)
Gorgeous pastels and wonderful DOF, Carol!!!
They’re called beach balls and they are made up of grasses, mostly, by the looks. THere’re more info here. I think your photo is the best out of all of them :D
Happy anniversary! A beautiful capture to commemorate the day.
So delicate in detail – love this Carol – hope you had a lovely Easter :) x
