MY LIFES SHELF

Forgive me for what i am about to write,
my lifes in the gutter,
for i have no wife……..
treated her bad,
took advantage of her love,
“get out” she said “ive had enough”.
Now here i am,
taking stock of myself,
now here i am,
alone on lifes shelf…….
“what did you do?” i hear you say
“why did she treat you in this way?”.
The answer lies deep within,
embedded well into my skin,
tis i the problem,
i have to say,
tis i the one,
who forced her away.
“will she return?”,
i want to see,
“can she forgive and again love me?”
