If God were one of Us.

The following is another attempt to bring awareness to a link between sensitivity, creativity and mental health. I believe myself to be very sensitive to emotional energy and am surrounded by so many others with a similar sensory depth.

I am often trying to explain to people about how I believe we can and do exchange our thoughts through emotional energy. I truly believe much of the depression, anxiety, confusion and violence in the world is because so few of us seem to believe or to be aware to this exchange.

Today I asked Mum how she felt that God would handle living on earth as a human. On deep reflection we both believed that God would become confused with relationship life. That he would feel so much from so many people but would at times find it hard to deal with the wide ranging emotions from other humans.

I believe that God would be open to extreme frustration. Imagine knowing you are God and then being confronted even briefly with confusion. For a normal person confusion is bad enough but I believe a confused God would feel so guilty. He would I imagine feel a great responsibility to be perfect and would run the risk of really getting down on himself if he did carry confusion or frustration.

The point of this is to try and illustrate how sensitive and creative people feel at times. I believe we have an ability to have a God like capacity to sense the feelings and emotions of our fellow humans. We also have such deep creative dreams and beliefs that we can be self sabotaging perfectionists at times.

The thing is relationship life is highly complex in my opinion and for those of us who feel more than others it is even more challenging. I liken God in spirit form being similar to a human in meditation. It is easier to be secure when we are isolated and at peace. However to be in human society as a highly sensitive person and to be secure and stable is a very tall order.

The thing is if we go deep enough to become aware to what we feel on the emotional sensory level we can go a long way to balancing feeling and stability. If we truly accept confusion we are less likely to feel guilt for being confused. Further if we really search the confusion with high self esteem and passion we are probably going to be able to bring rational sense to the deepest of feelings.

Just something to ponder!
