This is Detifoss (Iceland), the largest waterfall in Europe.
The weather was pretty morbid at the time of the visit… I took four shots to stitch a panorama anyway.
Since my CF card was nearly full of images, taken throughout the day, I took only “jpeg’s”.
I regretted that fact at the moment I started getting the photos ready for stitching due to not really big, but still extremely visible differences between the WB & colors/contrasts on edges of images, especially the water.
At the end I decided to stitch a panorama, turn it to B&W and color it “manually”.
Even though the final result is far from reality color-wise, I like it for displaying the “dull” mood and somehow giving me that “old color film feeling”.
Settings for all four shots:
Focal length – 14 mm
Aperture – F/4
Exposure time – 1/2 s
Cheers from “darker” part of the earth,
