Sizzling September Features '12

Wow well here we are into September La Rentrée here for us again! Chloe back at Uni and Naomi back at Lycée it’s going to be hard for them both to get back into the “swing” after nearly 10 weeks off! Hard work all round for them as well, Naomi has her BAC Francais next year in May so that means plenty of studying for her! Summer was lovely, we had a few nice days en famille, lots of work kept Rob very busy and I was either making or selling cards and Prints at the local Marchés Artisinale and Anglais…all good fun and kept us busy and meeting lots of new people and clients!

So my first thank you must go to the lovely host of All That’s Archaeology for featuring 2 of my images

I truly think that Summer (Indian or not) has sizzled out now – the 24th, 25th and 26th the clouds opened – the wind blustered and Autumn came in with a howl through the trees! We have had (so far) more rain in 2 days than in 2 months! I can’t say it’s not welcome on my part it really is as the garden is just looking so desolate, being on an infernal and continous water ban it makes life a bit harder looking after just over an acre of grass (which died down in July) and flower beds, veg patches and pots of flowers! SO for me the rain is welcome – we are indoors and cosy toes!! And we end the month on lovely warm sunny days…hopefully lasting into October when my Sister and Brother-in-law visit (his first time here so it would be lovely to have oh, so lovely warm weather!)
