Old Faithful Friend

Old Faithful Friend, when all the problems of the day have ended;
With valient skies, and twinkling stars, that only you had blended;

I wait for you while darkness stills, the deep but empty night;
To ask you for your help in making, every wrong thing right.

Oh King of King, Judge of Judges, listen please your Grace;
As I quietly kneel, in earnest prayer, and seek to find your face.

You created all mankind, to cherish and to love;
So here I’ll stay on bended knees, seeking guidence from above.

The world and all it’s treasures, may be quite necessary;
But I’d trade them all for what I have in you, my sanctuary.
