Are You Lost?

I’m a little child lost, and I want to
go home, But oh, where can that be?
There’s a little child lost in this tired
Old worn body, just longing to be free.

This little Child’s innocent, as only a child
could be, but fear has shut her her down;
She’s longing for someone to comfort her,
and take away that frown.

This might be me, or it could be you, or
maybe a friend we know.
But that scared little child that’s in all
of us, might someday start to show.

So close your eyes, and picture this,
you’re lifted in the air;
You’re placed on the lap of a loving Father,
Who shows you that He cares.

He holds you tight, and strokes your head,
and softly speaks to you.
He tells you that He’ll always be there,
in everything you do.

Now open your eyes, and believe these thoughts,
Cause everyone is true.
There’s a loving Father watching child,
especially..for you.
