The case of the squeaky shoes

The case of the squeaky shoes
They were a pair of Gor-Tex walking shoes
Brown in colour,with rubber soles
Perfect for a walk or stroll
Really comfy, smart as Hell
When I wore them I really felt swell
Till one day, not longago
A strange sound from my shoes emitted
A kind of squeak or was it a squawk
It drove me literally round the bend
Everyone would turn and stare
To see the old man with the talking shoes
I persisted long and hard
Till at last my patience exhausted
I took the shoes from off my feet
With one might heave I tossed the skywards
Happy to see the back of them
Walkin home with feet not squeaking
With joy well worth the speaking
So beware of footwear that talks, squawks or even squeaks
They,ll bring you down, they,ll make you weak
The moral of this silly tale is
Why walk and talk
When you can, walk, squeak and squawk
