Dearest Sister

Your train left the station at 05.59, you arrived punctual, exactly on time
You boarded the train, there took your seat
Along with others your destiny to keep
You were leaving the land of your birth
To journey far, to goodness knows where
In a great adventure, we all have to share
You used your time wisely, learned all that you could
If it helps in the next life, thats well and good
Of course we will miss you, that is a fact, but we will all follow, there’s no turning back
I cant say exactly which train we will board, but look for new arrivals in the house of the Lord.
How was your journey,? easy I hope, pleasant company, with little stops
Now you are settled, I suppose its OK, better than Glasgow on a cold rainy day
I hope this little letter finds you alright, I dont have an address
I’ll just have to write,
To Netta, new arrival, The Kingdom of Heaven.
Oh bye the way, Happy birthday dear sister,
Love from us all, see you one day soon, it wont be to long
