“Page 52 of the “Poppy Journals” is “The Tapestry”…..four small books in a tapestry design with worn gilding…four small red poppies grace the covers….written below in a gold script could be deciphered the words “Whosoever finds the Golden Poppy will forever” and there it stopped….
Dennis came in excitedly…“we’ve found Dr. Olivee….he is to call us back later today…I told him everything we found and our thoughts about them….he was cagey..said not to touch anything more till we speak to him again”
“Why not?”. Mary was instantly up in arms….
“He seemed awfully keen on us leaving everything as is until he talks to us”
“Well I for one am going to look at the other journals…what harm can it do…in fact it would save time”
“He was really insistent” Jan was the cautious one of the group…“let’s wait…it would do no harm to wait a bit longer…we can clean the other things in the meantime”
“He said not” urged Ann….
But it was no use, Brian and Jill picked up the “Tapestry” to have a closer look…there was something different about the journals this time…
