My Journey to Bangladesh.....1.

Began many years ago……..now to many to count……..it began when I volunteered to go to BD for 12 minths to help with the growing problem of Psychiatric patients and no solution to the treatment that was needed………that started in a very small shack
in Pabna……..my biggest problem was not speaking the language…but sometimes even that is an obstacle easily scaled………
The main thing I learned was the Bengali people are very proud,, and they have to be the most hospitable people in the world……….the poverty broke my heart..the children tore at my conscience…and I vowed I would return and try in whatever way I could to make a difference………………..and this is where my Final Journey begins….
Nothing much has changed in BD the poor get poorer………….the smiles get bigger….and the children wriggle there way into your heart ……..I spent many hours talking to Maa ( the Lady in acceptance..) and I think she nailed it when she said
“the Children need LOVE.”…………………..
There are many groups who teach religeon…many who now dispence food and medicine……..many who give clothes………….but very few who give Love…….ohh they try
but I mean the Love Mothers have and give………..to their babies…but in Bangladesh that is a different thing altogether………….
