Artist's Description

No, Terry was not my childhood sweetheart … or maybe he was. He was my best friend. He had a pet raccoon and we used to crawl into the pen with him. I still remember this name, JJ … he was JJ Raccoon. We played hide and seek together, rode our bikes together … went swimming down at Johnson’s pond and caught salamanders together. We formed the Cemetery Club where we had to go into the cemetery at night and tell spooky stories. We had the Rock Club .. we used to crack stones open with bigger stones to see what they looked like inside. When my date got sick and couldn’t take me to the prom … Terry sat with me outside on the steps and kept me company while I cried my heart out because I wasn’t going to the prom. And years later, Terry was BEST MAN at my wedding. Yep, Terry was more than my sweetheart, he was part of my soul.
So here is the suncatcher that he “left” me after he died. The one that my dog, Bruno found at the abandon house where Terry lived for only a few weeks. I left the card in the house … the one I had sent him. I felt it belonged there. But I took the suncatcher, thinking Terry had left it for me. That was 12 yrs ago.
Terry is the man in the brown suit. For Pic of Bruno, click here I miss them all.
