The Christian conquest was carried out by Alfonso X the yield to the Order of Calatrava. In the year 1457 Henry IV ceded to Don Rodrigo de Rivera to defend her from attacks by Muslims. In these years the city passed from Muslim to Christian hands alternately. Pruna in 1482 was sold to Don Rodrigo Ponce de Leon. Would later turn to the Duchy of Arcos in the sixteenth century, when it was granted the status of village, and in the eighteenth to the Duchy of Osuna.
