Artist's Description

It was late, almost 9:30 at night. But this was Alaska in summer so it wasn’t dark yet. But everything eventually comes to a close, even long summer days. And even years like this one.

So as the sun prepares to set, pause to take in the color cast by the last light of a long day. And though the beach is deserted and the tide so low it appears to have vanished, look for promises etched in the sand. For after it goes dark, the sun returns, the tide rises and bears make new prints in the sand.

Happy New Year Many thanks to all the Artists and Friends who kept 2016 beautiful, inspiring and creative. All the best and more for 2017.
