Artist's Description

In Ely, Minnesota you get the rare opportunity to come face to face with one of the most beautiful of wild creatures. Four “ambassador” gray wolves (Canis lupus) call the International Wolf Center home. On one side of observation glass, you watch them and, from time to time, they come to the glass and watch you watching them. But most of the time they prove why they are the best educators about wolves… they just carry on as members of The Pack.

So as deep shadow moves in at days end, wildlife gets active. And for this pack, that usually involves Luna – the only (and therefore the alpha) female stirring up mischief in the form of chase and be chased. That’s her on the ground, “teasing” her pack mates Denali, Boltz and Aiden.
