Artist's Description

From high up on Chambers Pillar base, that rises 50m above the dune country, looking out to Castle Rock.
Chambers Pillar was first observed by Europeans on Stuart’s first attempt at crossing Australia, and was since used as a critical landmark for further explorers and early stockmen, who’s names can still be seen carved into the Pillar.
