My Sword

Inside my mouth was the sword with a double blade,
It was cutting loose as the imbeciles kept criticizing .
They knew nothing of my talents to speak in foreign tongues,
Yet, they were persistent in disobeying the principles of freedom.

I stood my ground with my sword as I fended off their words,
Dirty and personal to my soul as they cowardly tried to harm me.
No fool was I to back down when my weapon was at my side,
So I slashed their wickedness with my mighty welded blade.

Soon more came to their side knowing so well they were in the wrong,
But I was more than an over matched opponent for the fools that tried.
The battles lasted into the night and I never retreated an inch or two,
Because I knew my sword had been to war and triumphed from fake heroes.

As the moonlight came I felt the desire to continue on without hesitation,
Never yielding to their bombardment of filthy language from their mouths.
When the sun peaked a smile I became the victor of the war of words,
And I am proud that good common sense prevailed to savor my day in court.
