My Journey

My journey started when I fell asleep during a movie,
And even though my body stayed my mind traveled.
Sometime between the first 15 minutes I was another me,
Exploring the cold regions of Alaska looking for gold.

Polar bears attacked me but I stood my ground unfazed,
We wrestled in hand to hand combat and I won the battle.
A dozen walrus sank their teeth onto my muscled body,
Only to be defeated by me as I tossed them to the frozen sea.

My sailing vessel and I drifted off the coast until we stopped,
By then we had reached the Chinese sea and I climbed the wall.
With sword in hand I fought for hours as my enemies retreated,
And then a swift horse galloped me away to another land unknown.

The snoring sound of myself woke me up but no one heard,
So I adventure away to the coast of Africa and continued on.
Lions and alligators challenged my survival skills in panic,
And with only a squirt of blood to taste I fought them off.

A mother elephant let me ride her back as she whisked me off,
Until we reached a land of sand where she could go no more.
For miles I walked eating scorpions along the way as I moved,
But my luck took a turn for the best as a camel appeared to me.

Within the sand dunes and oasis’s I found the treasure I seek,
She had clothes of silk and diamonds hanging from her body.
One look into her green eyes and I was hypnotized in her lust,
That I became in love with her until the usher awaken me to return.
