A Deal With Halloween Creatures

There was something sinister,
To the full moon night.
Dark clouds hovered around it,
Letting me know something wasn’t right.

My car wouldn’t start,
As I turned the ignition key.
Looked through the rear-view mirror,
And saw a skeleton of a monkey.

I turned around,
To acknowledge what was in the back seat.
A fire had been lit,
As I chocked from the smoke and the heat.

The door locks wouldn’t open,
And the left door handle came loose.
A creature flew next to my window,
It was white and bigger than a goose.

I kicked the glass with my shoe,
Then I crawled out through the window door.
Blood dripped from my open wounds,
And soon it was all over the garage floor.

Bats soon showed up for a drink,
While I tried to enter the house.
Once I opened the front door,
I was greeted by a giant mouse.

I ran onto the darken road,
Hoping someone would hear my voice.
Then a woman on a broom stick,
Flew above me as I quickly made a choice.

My nearest neighbor was two miles away,
So I speed-ed up my running pace.
Crossed a hidden cemetery,
And with zombies I came face to face.

They chased me for a while,
But I was too fast for them to catch.
Stumbled into a huge nest blown by the wind,
And in it was a vulture with it’s new born batch.

By then I was completely out of breath,
And I fell helplessly to the ground.
Ghostly figures floated nearby,
So I laid there without making any sound.

Once I thought It was all clear,
I made an attempt to reach my neighbors home.
But as I looked through his window,
A werewolf salivated as from his mouth out spilled a foam.

I soon found myself all surrounded,
By all the creatures from the Halloween night.
There was no energy left in my body,
To try and put up a decent fight.

I closed my eyes and prepared myself to be eaten,
Knowing my flesh would make a decent meal.
Then I gathered myself and bravely said,
“Listen you devils, I’m ready to make a deal!”
