How Beautiful The Music

How Beautiful The MusicByOscar Elizondo

The music was loud as I took a glance,
Walked up to her and asked her to dance.
She didn’t refuse as we took the floor,
Soon after I asked her to dance some more.

My wild moves quickly became a hit,
And there was no time to waste or sit.
We held each other tight on the slow piece,
Rocked and rolled with music from the movie Grease.

The night was short as no song was missed,
Dancing to tunes from the past era of the twist.
I even had time to do my famous split,
When the stage came bright as it was lit.

Towards the end they played music to the beat of Disco,
Then all the lights came on when it was time to go.
Our last dance was slow and our hearts still beat,
Thirty eight years ago and our love is still very sweet.

Artist's Description

I was listening to some old tunes and it reminded me of music from the past. My brain just went into the past and how sweet the music.
