The Lord Of The Sea

A hail of wind
blowing on sails of silk,
As the crescenten sea
ungentle as it sets it boundaries.
“No ship shall
go un scaled,” says I,
“For I am the voice
of a mighty force to reckon.”

Then just as sudden
as the flow of salty water,
The ship makes a run
to free itself from it’s captive lord.
Only to be blindly stricken
with the massive power of the sea.

Loosened wood becomes a float
from the mightly taken blow,
And some of it’s mother load
is washed loosely ashore.
Another victory
for the ruler of waterways,
Unit another vessel dares
to encroach upon this magnificent foe.

“But wait,
what is this man made of flesh
that has endured the highest tide?
How brave of you
to return to fight me
without solid ground
to stand upon.!”

Another twist of events
as the mighty warrior
has reached the land of sand.
Where he will wait
until his strength will give him hope
to built a transport
that can defeat the lord of the water world.
