Very clever to get the position of the top of the tower in the centre of the Sth Celestial pole like that – is it something you had worked out from practice or did you get lucky? A great effect.
Thanks tasadam. There was a little bit of luck getting the top of the tower close to the SCP. The challenge was to get to a suitable position in the dark. This required climbing through barbed wire fences carrying a tripod, camera and portable seat.
