Artist's Description

Found this guy in my girlfriends backyard (Brisbane, Australia) the other weekend, after weeks of trying to figure out what this guy is a good friend of mine identified it as a Black-Headed Wasp Moth – part of the Tiger Moth family and found almost specifically in the Brisbane area. There’s also a similar looking White Antennae Wasp Moth.

Shot with a 450D and a 70-300 is usm telephoto at 300mm.

Shutter: 1/50th
Aperture: f/5.6
ISO: 100
