Artist's Description

Sculpted from a piece of Granite Rock from Scotlands Cairngorms, this work I call “Choices” It shows the figure peering into the cave within which there are two ways. The serpent which is about to strike from without the cave is symbolic of the choice element. Below the serpent I have sculpted in a Celtic Trinitarian symbol. The ancient symbol of three in one alludes to the idea of the figure versus two ways. Not the direct trinitarian idea, yet a theological discourse nonetheless. The “Choices” is more a symbol of the Theos in Ecology
