This is one of the older rooms in an abandoned mental institution for women in Belgium. The floors were soft and dangerous, and weird and very nasty kinds of fungus grew out of just about everything. Its was a very quiet and sad place. Lost shoes and dirty teddybears and dolls everywhere, and on the attic I found a large box full with unopened letters.
The institution consists of 2 very large buildings, and a small autopsy room on the outside, where the table and some tools still remain as quiet witnesses of the dead.
Unfortunately, the one taking care of the building is an urbex photographer. And instead of leaving the things as they are, he staged a lot of stuff in most rooms in both of the buildings. They make for nice pictures, but its not the way I like my Urbex to go. I want to feel like Im the first visitor in ages, but I felt like I was no. 25 today :-)
Oh well, theres still so many places to go!
