Artist's Description

Way back in 1982 there still were several of the old timer bikers around and they were teaching all the new bikers how it didn’t matter how old the Harley was as long as one could ride the chopper to what ever party or biker bar available. Them guys would still have real old rides like this one one the road by making parts themselves or finding some old used ones to trade for. I couldn’t help taking a picture of this old ride because back in about 1983 or so Harley quit making the then most popular with bikers model called Shovel Head. I had even saw some rides older than this one like Pan Heads and was able to get a 1946 Scout Bike springer front end to put on my 1980 Sportster. That way I could even make it look as old as these kind of choppers way back when it was relatively new.
