Taken at The Summit of Tent Rocks, New Mexico, during a meandering photographic essay of this sacred magical area and just as the Sun was sitting. This sacred place lives in my Heart and was one of the first places I visited when I came to NM. I camped for 2 weeks on private property with my youngest daughter one of Art Collectors and my Shamanic Apprentice. When we arrived we thought it was the Public Campground AAA had listed in one the travel guidebooks my Mom had ordered for me to use while on a Sacred Journey touring the Southwest, when we got there it was trashed my modus operandi when traveling the land is clean it up before and after you set up camp. So under my command we all set to work and cleaned it up the next morning a lovely Hispanic Elder showed up and introduced himself and I introduced myself my daughter and friends and he said thank you for respecting my land and cleaning it up and I said, Oh we thought it was the public Camp ground mentioned in the Triple AAA Tour Guide and He said There isn’t one near here but you are welcome to stay as long as you like, you respected my land and restored it, the movie crew who came before you did not ask my permission to use my land in their film, did not respect me or my land and left it trashed and you respect the land honor it and honor me by your presence here, you may come back anytime and stay here for as long as I own the land.
I thanked him for his hospitality and told him it was an honor to meet him and stay on his land.
Now you can enjoy the beauty of this magical vista from the comfy elegance of your home! The Summit is Available in a Variety of Archival Printed Formats and as Postcard & Greeting Cards.
