This Markham of Mine

I looked out my car window as the scene sluggishly changed, but always seeing that same tranquil town. Other cars were few and far between. The occasional couple strolled by, shivering from the cold. Children played, tossing balls of wet snow, that were drowned in the blue sky. Trees stood lonely, on the grass, leafless in front of tall colourful brick houses. That was really all to the neighbourhood. But nothing was lacking.
