Artist's Description

These are interesting little frogs, they hop but often crawl along. I noticed they are not real swimming frogs and often close their eyes while swimming. I had some real trouble identifying these guys as they “should be” Uperoleia laevigata but had a definite partly pigmented belly getting darker near the rear. This specimen was found at Emerald Beach, NSW, Australia.
