Artist's Description

This is another shot of the same specimen of Green Crested Lizard posted previously. After I took the 400mm telephoto shots I changed to a macro lens for a closer shot. The dragon ran off, swam across a pool and started to change colour (stress related?). By the time I left him there was almost no green on him with his primary colour brown with some blue markings. I came across another specimen high in a tree a couple of days later who was almost completely brown and I had not disturbed him and it was unlikely he knew he was being observed!!

Earlier shot of same specimen
