Patient Zero is the first known case in any biological outbreak...
Often scientists search for the patient zero to determine how the disease spread and what reservoir holds the disease in between outbreaks. First used by Dr. William Darrow and colleagues at the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) in the US in the early eighties in reference to the AIDS epidemic, and popularised by the writings of journalist Randy Shilts.
In these days Advertising could be seen to spread the desire to consume in much the same way as a pandemic...buy buy buy.

This shirt is comfortable, yet fashionable! It is made of soft cotton, but did not shrink when washed! I highly recommend it!
