Artist's Description

The red rocks of Sedona are thought to possess mystical energies resulting from the convergence of “ley lines” that crisscross the globe, creating localized “energy vortices.”

Cathedral Rock is a common site for meditation and New Age gatherings. This image captures what appears to be a vortex forming in the clouds over Cathedral Rock; the air was certainly filled with electricity when I took this picture.

Sedona, Arizona, USA
