Artist's Description

This chain-link-fence enclosed pedestrian overpass bridge links Hialeah to Miami Springs, starting at Red Road to the North, crossing over Okeechobee Road and the Miami River (canal C-6, over 77 miles long from Lake Okeechobee to Miami), and landing next to the Miami Springs Dog Park along North Royal Poinciana Blvd.

A sign of the times… the Red Solo Cups that line the sides of the walkway are frequently pressed into the chain-link to create signs announcing everything from birthdays to winning football teams- it’s a tradition amongst the students of Miami Springs Senior High School, nearby.
