This is what remains of the Dewey Bridge, the longest suspension bridge over the Colorado River. The bridge is along Utah Route 128 north of Moab. After being rebuilt to its original 1916 condition, the deck was destroyed in a fire in 2008 when a child sparked a nearby brush fire while playing with matches. This is one of only three sites where bridges cross the Colorado river.
The dead tree in the center of the scene stands stark against the sky.
