Haiku

Between April leaf-fall and
Laburnum’s yellow fever lie
A fortnight, a fecund sky.

Words are shells you collect
Just to empty pockets and
Throw away at home.

The moon fluttered on
God’s flagpole ,a thousand lamps
Strewed birds in tree’s dark.
