The Restless Wonder

To travel is a noble thing,
A restless wanderer,
With no where to call home.

Missed my many,
Loved by few,
Yet feeling still, so alone.

The people along the way,
Come and go,
Always ready for leave to roam.

When until it happens,
You find a place,
That meets your tone.
You like the smell,
The walk of the people,
Never a want to need or moan.

What can be better?
Until you meet a girl,
You’d think you’d like to know.

With money in your pocket,
Smoke in your pipe,
The music gently groans.

Its’ one more night,
Getting ready for bed,
Til’ the day again dawns,
Who’s gotta fallen race?
Another a fallen child
Is his cryful woe.

Electronic wonderland,
Kid A it’s called,
Sings a very joyful song.

Something I don’t understand.
Still.
I connect to it though.

Now it’s time for bed,
Work tomorrow,
As flies the crow.

Goodnight.
