Artist's Description

Walking through the flood plains that have not seen water for many years, the grass is as long as your knees and you can hear it crunch under your feet and feel it swaying as you brush through it.

The night is drawing ever closer as the day nears its end. The clouds race away from the sun and they catch the pigment of it as they do, showering the sky in red and orange and turning structures of the land into dark shadows of their former, daylight selves.

The valley at this time of evening is showered in red, the flood plains coming alive with the blood of life that the sun presents. A sight seldom seen, now forever captured.
