Artist's Description

This is a passage that hundreds and thousands of boats travel to go north along the coast of British Columbia. Fishing vessels, cruiseships, tugs hauling barges like in this picture. It’s a beautiful scene that a lot of people take pictures and read about one the biggest underwater explosion ever!
For years, I had been told stories of how Seymour Narrows, just north of Campbell River, was the most treacherous area for ocean navigation in North America.
