Artist's Description

Apologies if people find this to be of bad taste but my intention was to capture this perfect peaceful resting place.

This image was taken at St John’s Church in Ballachulish.

St John’s Church, Ballachulish, was built in 1842 and consecrated in 1844. The church’s altar vessels are inscribed ‘Parish of Appin, 1723’ and are said to have been used for communion by the Jacobite troops at the Battle of Culloden in 1745.
