Porridge Flavoured Slime

Yet again in a cell,
Paying for my crime.
Washing back with piss-weak tea,
Their Porridge Flavoured Slime.

Not alot to do inside,
But roll another burn.
So I bide my time and wait,
For that key to turn.

Things before I took for granted,
Chicken Tikka, birds and beer.
Are akin to faded echoes,
Of a song I used to hear.

Prison life is pretty grim,
It has me on the brink.
My final piece of innocence,
Devoured by the Clink.

Staring at these walls all day,
Is playing with my mind.
Either way, confined I stay,
Until it makes me blind.

‘At Her Pleasure’ I am kept,
Enjoy it while you can.
In this cage I maybe,
But I am still a man.
