I’m SaNoah LaRocque, an Ojibwe artist from the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa. My work is inspired by my matriarchs, especially my grandma Loretta—the Golden Eagle Woman—and reflects the strength, beauty, and spirit of Indigenous womanhood. I use floral and hummingbird imagery rooted in Anishinaabe tradition to honor my culture, tell our stories, and keep our lifeways alive through every line I draw.
