Artist's Description

Destroyed
The Ruins of the Cachaliere Pier, which was for crushing & exporting Granite in the years before World War 2, lies at the bottom of the cliffs, whilst the entrance to a Nazi bunker looks down.
I am pretty sure that the pier was literally blown up by the Allies before the Germans invaded so that they Nazis could not use it..
