Nur turned to her older sister and asked, “Mina, why do you sometimes just sit like that, staring at the wall?”

“I’m admiring Dad’s handiwork. You don’t think he did a good job painting?” Mina answered with a theatric gasp.

“Seriously. And what are you hiding from me in your hand?”

Mina transferred the hidden object into her pocket.

“I’m holding my breath. Look, and now I’m letting it go, whoosh.” She waved her empty hand in an arc, acting out her words.

“Why can’t you give me a straight answer for once?” Nur retorted, annoyed.

“You know I lost my ruler a long time ago. I can’t help it if my answers are crooked!” It was hard for her to keep a straight face in the midst of her sister’s agony.

“Never mind!” She grabbed a book and hid behind it.

Mina smiled, and stared back at the wall.

Though these exact words were never spoken, the spirits here are channelling my family (myself included). Just thought I’d give you a glimpse at our conversation types, and give myself a little fun. ;o)
