Artist's Description

This water wheel is part of a working display at the Hagley museum alone the Brandywine river in Wilmington Delaware. It is the site of a black powder mill founded in the 1600s by the DuPont family. The wheel may not be original but it is still very old and the water is the only power that keeps it turning
