White Tara, Ava Marie Stella, Steadfast star, Guiding star, Bright star, North star are all names throughout the ages that describe a star 434 light years away that people have used to navigate travel by for a long time. By our Naked eye it appears as a bright star seen in the day and night, by telescope it’s a multiple star- its constellation is painted behind the icon.
I saw this during a meditation practice and thought it was White Tara. When I started to draw it, I started to see the white Madonna known as Ave Marie Stella, Star of the Sea. On investigation- Wikipedia—found that they are one and the same. Different images/names in honour of the star group that have been helping humanity to navigate the globe throughout the ages.
Celebrated by poets and playwrights, artists all over the world. I am privileged to have joined them in tribute.
I love the exploration of the masculine and feminine energy’s. Of feminine mentorship support guiding the young male energy to navigate life and the new world they are discovering. The strength compassion in the feminine, leadership and offering a place to dwell safely and the masculine adoration. Wonderful experience making this work.
