This is a close-up of a Rose window at the entrance of The Basilica of St. Mary’s in downtown Mpls., MN. This window is 15 feet in diameter and is centered directly above the entrance. Below is a wider view of the window in its entirety. This Catholic church has a total of 60 stained glass windows throughout the building. Construction started in 1907 and took over 20 years to complete. The Basilica is the co-cathedral of the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Mpls. together with the Cathedral of St. Paul.
