I Miss You

Can you hear my heart calling out to you?
It is screaming of how it misses you
Locked and chained, unable to subdue

I cry for you, did you hear them?
Thoughts twirled upon a spool, out of control
Feeling as a flower, who has fallen off her stem

Please know how much you are missed
Each day I breathe, I inhale you
No where in sight, yet feeling you are near

The ability to read my heart, there’s no need
Look through my eyes, watch them pulse for you
Unbelievable is the feeling, of missing the love you did feed

My voice is silent
My penned words shout
My heart became violent

Violent with a pain that aches
Always sadened that I never said a word
Made you doubt my love, placed with the fakes

Vowed to you this day, truth in my heart
My love to you was never something to pretend
I miss you my love, I missed you from the start.
